The NOLA-Nippon challenge: week 2
Bruce Rutledge
October 6, 2012, 2012

Congrats to Fernando for winning the week 1 prize. You drink Ramune (rah-moo-nay) while watching Treme (Treh-may).

Ramune is that drink from Japan with the marble caught in the throat. And, of course, Treme is that excellent HBO series on New Orleans.

This week, we'll keep it simple and sports-related. Speaking of sports, may the Saints go 12-4.

The question for week 2:

Name a professional athlete who played for a New Orleans team and grew up in a traditional Japanese household despite being Caucasian.

We'll take all correct answers (submit them here, on our facebook page, our twitter account or via email at speak at chin music press dot com), and we'll draw one winner, who will receive a $20 gift certificate to use in our store.

Geaux Saints (and Browns ... hint, hint)!
