Week of Literary Love: Jean Valjean
Cali Kopczick
13 February, 2015

My Self-Summary:

Father, trying to do the best to atone for my sins.

What I’m doing with my life:

Running from my ex (prison officer). Convent gardening, some light factory management. Mostly just the parenting and atonement thing, though.

I’m really good at:

Hiding from Javert. Lifting heavy things. Sacrificing myself for my dear Cosette.

The first thing people usually notice about me:

My ripped bod and noble, tortured brow.

The six things I could never do without:

I’d say my six-pack if I didn’t know that I could never give up my darling Cosette.

I spend a lot of time thinking about:

Where Javert is, whether he’s thinking about me, what he’s wearing.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit:

I’ve got some prison tats hidden under my gentleman’s disguise.

I’m looking for:

A mother for my darling Cosette, a diversion for Javert, and, at the end of the day, someone to wipe the anguished sweat from my brow.
