Crap Hound #5 from Show & Tell Press
A compact encyclopedia of graphic images, "Crap Hound: A Picture Book for Discussion and Activity" is a visual feast. This issue, which is Show & Tell Press' debut release, is dedicated to images of hands, hearts and eyes, all rendered in black and white. It was originally released in 1997, but brought back due to popular demand with extra pages of new graphics. The images were collected from a variety of disparate sources -- vintage catalogs, advertisements and books from around the world -- but they somehow tell us something about our social and cultural values. As a short message at the bottom of the preface says: "Remember that Crap Hound is a mixture of social commentary and somewhat over-indulgent graphic design." Image contributors include owner of Show & Tell Press Chloe Eudaly herself.
